The Deborah Project Leadership Institute (TDPLI) is a leadership development and educational program dedicated to preparing women to lead with confidence, character, faith, and purpose.
Founded by Dr. Barbara Wilson, the Institute provides a supportive learning environment where women can discover their leadership potential, strengthen their spiritual foundation, develop practical leadership skills, and prepare to make a meaningful difference in their churches, families, workplaces, and communities.

Dr. Barbara Wilson
Founder, The Deborah Project Leadership Institute
Dr. Barbara Wilson founded The Deborah Project Leadership Institute with a vision to create a place where women could be taught, mentored, encouraged, and equipped to fulfill their God-given purpose.
Her desire is to help women recognize that leadership is not simply a position or title—it is the ability to use your gifts, experiences, character, and influence to positively impact the lives of others.
Our Faculty
TDPLI is supported by a dedicated faculty of women leaders who bring ministry experience, leadership knowledge, life experience, and a commitment to mentoring and developing others.
Faculty members serve as instructors, mentors, encouragers, and examples of purpose-driven leadership.

The Deborah Project Leadership Institute operates under YAPS, an organization committed to education, development, mentorship, leadership, and opportunities that help individuals prepare for purposeful and productive lives.
Through TDPLI, YAPS extends that commitment by providing women with opportunities for leadership education, personal development, mentorship, and service.
